Deaf
West Theatre continues to bring the
culture of Deaf storytelling to all
at our North Hollywood theatre. Each
workshop offers children and adults
of all ages the opportunity to enjoy
the written word through a visual
language (American Sign Language)
with spoken English translation. Deaf
storytellers are featured, performing
well-known and much-loved children's
stories in ASL, with voice translation
for hearing children and parents.
Another
series of ASL Story Time workshops
launches every year for deaf and hearing
children and their parents. Admission
to this event is free and open to
the public. Come join us for
any of the upcoming performances.
